SKULPIST is derived from the word sculpting and the act of using ones hands and mind in synchrony to create. The lifeblood of SKULPIST is the awareness of being alive and ageing–the process of strengthening our intellect and improving the understanding of ourselves and the world around us over time, while during this, having our physical being decay.
It is the privilege of life and the existence of death that drives us, and we are devoted to creating until the end of our lives. Our goal is to construct products that reflect our fragile lives, stemming from learning, letting go, practice, testing, and time.
We are dedicated to the do it yourself culture, mastering ones craft, being in the moment, and actualising ideas, wanting to bring them to life in to the present. SKULPIST is a representation of the human self and encapsulates an infinite amount of emotions, interests, and experimental concepts.
